Chris & Mark are a wonderful couple from Pasadena. On one of their many trips to the Central Coast we took them to the downtown San Luis Obispo creek area for their engagement photos. Here are a few.

Toby & Sarah’s Wedding – New Life Church / Victorian Pitkin Conrow Estate

Toby and Sarah were married at New Life Church in Pismo Beach. Their ceremony was very touching as well as very unique. I’ve never seen Superman and Wonderwoman make an appearance at a wedding but that’s what happened and it was so creatively done. Toby and Sarah put together a video that had everyone entertained. Later their reception was held at The Victorian Pitkin Conrow Estate which I think was the perfect setting for this couple with all their friends and family. Later after the reception we had planned to go to the beach for some sunset photos but when we arrived at the beach the fog was so thick you couldn’t even see the ocean. Toby and Sarah had a great idea of driving to the vineyards in San Luis Obispo for the photos so that is what we did and the weather was perfect and so was the light. Congratulations Toby and Sarah, you make such a wonderful couple and we wish you all the best!

Starr & Jude’s Engagement Session in Avila Beach

I always enjoy hearing about a couples wedding plans, how they met, etc. Starr and Jude are truly a great couple and the love they have for each other really shows. WPPI Print Competition

Congratulations to Martin Fitzpatrick whose work was honored at the recent Wedding and Portrait Photographers International 16X20 print competitions. Martin was recognized with an accolade of excellence award in the Wedding Photojournalism category. Martin  competed  against  an  international  field  of  photographers  to  win  such  honors.

The  Awards  of  Excellence  16 x 20  Print  Competition  awards  are  presented  each  year  at  the  largest  conference  in  the  United  States  for  professional  photographers.   The  2012  competition  included  1500 prints in 18 different categories submitted by photographers from all over  the  world.

The Gardens at Peacock Farms Wedding – John + Katie

John and Katie tied the knot at the beautiful Gardens at Peacock Farms in Arroyo Grande. They both looked amazing and we had fun with them as they are truly a wonderful couple. Flowers to You by Jessica designed all the floral arrangements with violet, soft green and ivory flowers with a few peacock feathers as well. The Cakery created a beautiful cake for them and John and Katie even had an additional cake made for two of their guests who happened to be celebrating their anniversary that day! Everyone seemed to be having a great time at the photobooth and Scott with Muir Music kept the party going with some great music. Congratulations John and Katie, you deserve the best!
