California Mid-State Fair Wedding Challenge

Central Coast Wedding Professionals designed two booths at the California Mid-State Fair this year. I volunteered to work on one of the booths and what an experience it was. Patrice with Arranged by Patrice was the leader of our group and she came up with a beautiful design for our theme “A Fall Wedding at Yosemite Lodge in Yosemite Falls”. She chose to create a beautiful ceremony and reception site using all fall colors of orange, yellow and brown. Since it was Yosemite Falls we needed a waterfall so my amazing husband Martin went to work on it and in the end he created a beautiful waterfall as the backdrop to the ceremony site. Got You Cover’d provided all the chairs and tables for the site as well as helping us with a last minute request for lighting to enhance our booth. They came through for us even though they are in the middle of a huge move. Their name says it all.

Flowers by Denise also provided some fun and earthy aisle decorations that fit perfectly with Patrice’s vision. The Cakery not only provided a beautiful cake for us but also let Patrice and I drive all over their property aquiring various tree branches, moss and rocks for the enchanted forest look we were going for. Tina Hoppe was so helpful with letting us borrow her truck to get this gigantic waterfall up there. Del McCulley with Entertainment Now also provided some amber uplighting for the trees and waterfall that added that final touch.

It was a great experience overall and we were so thrilled when we found out we took first place! If you are going to the fair this week please check out the booths in the landscaping area. All the wedding booths look amazing.
